- 7 days and nights at the
Maison L'Art Vivant, a three-story, 400 year-old stone house that's been
beautifully reconstructed by artist Carole Watanabe. The Maison is in the
heart of a charming medieval village, within easy walking distance of cafes,
shops, and parks.
- Double occupancy in one of 8 fabulously fun bedrooms, each painted in the style of a different Impressionist master—Chagall, Gaughin, Van Gogh. Writing desks in each room.

- 3 delicious meals a day
prepared by a local French chef de cuisine and served in the elegant dining
room with a view of the garden.
- Inspiring daily writing prompts and lively creative exercises led by Thea Sullivan, MFA, MAT, well-published poet and creator of the popular Intuitive Voice creative writing workshops.
- Plenty of free time to write, relax, and wander
the streets of Sorèze.
- A warm creative community
and ample opportunity to share your writing in a safe, supportive environment.
- Optional work-in-progress
feedback sessions and/or individual conferences with Thea for help with craft
and process.
- Excursions to nearby scenic Albi, home of the Toulouse-Latrec museum, and to Revel, home of a traditional French farmer's market full of gastronomic delights in a medieval square.

Cost of $1,650 U.S. includes 7 nights lodging in double accommodations, 20 meals, all writing instruction, and ground transportation to and from Toulouse. Does not include airfare and one dinner. Single occupancy requires an additional fee, if available. (Increased price from last year reflects a 20% rise in the Euro against the U.S. dollar.)
